Our Background
Japan Bangladesh Friendship Foundation (JBFF) started its journey as a Non-political, Non-profit, and Privately run entity in Bangladesh in the year 2008 as a brainchild of Prof. Sarder A Nayeem, a renowned laparoscopic surgeon of Bangladesh. With time this became a collaborative endeavor of two countries, namely Bangladesh and Japan. We joined our hand together to establish a hub for healthcare education under one roof. We are nurturing Japan Bangladesh Friendship Hospital (JBFH), Japan Bangladesh Friendship Retirement Homes (JBFRH), Japan Bangladesh Friendship Nursing College (JBFNC), North Western Nursing Institute (NWNI), The Medical Assistant Training School (The MATS), International Institute of Health Science (IIHS), Evergreen Nursing Institute (ENI), Japan Bangladesh Friendship Language Institute (JBFLI), Japan Bangladesh Friendship College of Health Science (JBFCHS), and Japan Bangladesh Friendship Caregiver Institute (JBFCI) beneath the umbrella of JBF Foundation.
Japan Bangladesh Friendship Hospital (JBFH) was the first well recognized endeavor of JBFF taken in the Year 1993. After numerous success of JBFH in serving the healthcare industry of Bangladesh, The JBF Foundation thrives with the idea of empowering the young underprivileged population of rural and sub-urban domain of Bangladesh to serve humanity and established all its sister concern healthcare institutes one by one to educate and train them.
This foundation was initiated with the idea to build a skill-based nation free from ignorance, unemployment, inequality, early marriage, and poverty, thus we can contribute in the process of achieving Sustainable Development Goals set by United Nations.
In response to the acute global crisis of healthcare professionals Japan Bangladesh Friendship Foundation’s JBFH, JBFNC, NWNI, The-MATS, IIHS, ENI are working in line with the vision to mark their presence as an asset in the global healthcare human resources community. JBFNC contributes to the nursing line of work by training 90 (Diploma-60, BSc 30) students in each batch and NWNI enroll 40 students in each batch to groom them as skilled professional for the same ground. ENI is also approved to take in 40 students in each batch. The MATS accommodates 160 students in each batch and train them to be the most efficient Medical Assistant for the global healthcare sector. IIHS facilitates 150 students (Diploma Lab- 30, Diploma in Dental- 30, Diploma in Pharmacy-30, BSc Lab-30, BSc in Physiotherapy) in each batch and successfully Certify them to be productive in their respective ground.
Our experienced and qualified faculty members work dedicatedly to train our students to be the most efficient, ethical and compassionate caregiver for the global healthcare industry. Moreover, our administrative team wholeheartedly stands by their side to ease the challenges of their path.
